These quality spindle gouges are hot forged, grounded, and finished by hand from high speed steel. They are designed to last up to 6 times as long as carbon tools. Features a black ash handle. The blades on these gouges have been cryogenically treated. Cryogenic blades offer excellent benefits, including better wear resistance, increased edge retention, less chipping, and a longer service life.
